Appeal for medics

After last week’s Journal story about First Responder training in Stoke St Milborough, an appeal has gone out for mobile medics to attend emergencies across the county.

Community First Responders are ordinary non-medical people who are trained in life-saving techniques, including the use of a defibrillator.

They work as volunteers, providing vital assistance to people who are ill or injured prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

Potential recruits can contact Sarah Low, Ludlow’s community paramedic, on 07866 537287 or email sarahjlow@aol.com
