A Mid Wales vicar’s wife, who was arrested in connection with allegations involving child pornography, has been given a caution.
Julia Hart, 40, was arrested with her husband, the Reverend Richard Hart, at their home at The Vicarage in Beguildy in January.
Mr Hart appeared in court for the first time last week charged with 13 offences of making indecent photographs of a child and five offences of possessing indecent photos of a child.
He did not enter any pleas, although ‘not guilty’ pleas were entered on his behalf by magistrates and the case was adjourned until July 10 for committal to crown court.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed Powys Police said: “We can confirm that a 40-year-old woman from Beguildy who was arrested in connection with allegations involving child pornography in January has been given an adult caution.”
