Inspections of grounds and facilities of those clubs applying to join the new Spar Mid Wales League second division will begin this weekend.
Spar secretary Phil Woosnam and vice-president Phil Jones, both members of The FAW, will be carrying out the task as well as inspecting grounds of the current Spar clubs.
Meanwhile, both Presteigne and Rhayader Town have been visited by officials from the Cymru Alliance.
The two Radnorshire clubs plus Carno and Llansantffraid Village have applied for promotion to The Alliance at the end of the current season.
