Over 500 runners from all parts of the country set off in the annual Round The Lakes Race at Rhayader last Saturday, for the main 20 mile Road Race around the Elan Valley Dams.
This year was the 26th year that the event has been held and among those taking part was Rosie Swale-Pope, the round the world marathon runner from West Wales.
Chris Martin, the secretary of Rhayader Running Club and official starter for the main race, is seen welcoming Rosie to Rhayader.
