LudlowCollege has revealed that its principal, Chris Conoley, has resigned from his post with effect from July 31.
Mr Conoley joined Ludlow College in April 2008 and has overseen a period of change and challenge during his time with the college.
He has now decided to leave for personal reasons and to pursue other career opportunities, a college spokesman said.
“There is much I shall miss about the college, which has been a great place to work with many valued colleagues but I am looking forward to a new chapter in my career,” Mr Conoley said..
Jonathan Davis will remain as acting principal while arrangements are made to appoint a permanent Principal.
Dr Ewart Carson, chair of governors, said: “Chris has agreed with the governors that he now wishes to pursue other avenues in his career and we wish him well”.
LudlowCollege is continuing to provide high quality learning and has just completed a number of successful “taster days” for students from partner schools and two “intro days” for students joining us in September 2010.
