A florist from Bishop’s Castle is celebrating this week after bagging her biggest ever haul of trophies at this year’s Shrewsbury Flower Show.
Jane Pugh, who runs Jane’s Petal And Flowers on the High Street, said she was “over the moon” to scoop an array of awards after one of the busiest weeks of her life.
Aside from her show commitments she was also sorting out arrangements for two weddings and wasn’t able to celebrate her success until late last Saturday afternoon when she had finished her orders.
Jane took the Royal Bank of Scotland Rose Bowl for the best pedestal and the Gredington Cup for gaining the highest number of first prizes in the Floral Art Section.
She was also handed a commendation for innovation and a miniature display ‘needles and pins.’
